Listen to insights on business failures as the closures relate to PR and Marketing missteps.

All of Mike’s comments on this podcast might sound discouraging. But, by identifying the primary causes of small business failure, adjustments can be made to allow new business owners to place odds in their favor for success.

I first blogged this topic in 2013 and still believe today that we remain in a new and ever-changing age of photography.

With the continual evolution of both stand-alone digital cameras and new models of smartphones coming out for the holidays, by gosh, there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight of this technological revolution!

What makes a great photo? Listen to learn more.

Effective marketing requires using multiple channels and approaches to deliver your company message to your target audience. Merely buying a billboard or setting up Google Ad may not be enough to reach your target audience. New to the mix in recent years is "Geo-Fencing".

Mike goes over some of the benefits of using geo-fencing technologies.

Our firm believes:

Families should have the right at all times to be treated with dignity and respect by the media.

Nearly every day, after a tragic incident that makes news, families are asked by reporters for an interview. Just Google "Sutherland Springs, Texas Church shooting" to find countless media reports where family members are being asked to comment with regards to this November 5, 2017 shooting.

Sometimes these requests are just after they (the media) ambush family members at their front door, or see them entering their vehicle or have access to their phone number -- leaving countless messages to grant access for an interview.

We believe that families have rights to be treated with dignity and respect at all times after an incident that propels them into the global media eye.

Often, families dealing with grief or shock do not know that they can take a stand when it comes to the news media.

In the second of a Two Part podcast series, Mike offers additional recommendations to review before deciding to make comments to the news media.

There is confusion among many on how to determine what PR is and what it is not!

Understanding “PR” or Public Relations is a critical first step in building a small business or nonprofit.

Mike shares in this podcast how the term has evolved over the years.

Newspapers, blogs, TV stations, radio and social media news outlets all operate on completely different news cycles.
This cycle is day and night.
There was a time when you had 24 hours to react to an event or make a statement before the media picked what you said or released appeared to viewers, readers or listeners. Now, you have 24 seconds.
In this podcast, Mike briefly explains the news cycle and how to anticipate it and work in harmony with it.

With a New Year here it’s a great opportunity to look at marketing trends for 2015 and how to integrate each into your business or nonprofit.

A key trend is Content Marketing.

LinkedIn recently posted nearly 1,900 jobs under this category in their job listings.

In this podcast, Mike provides rationale for this trend and easy to use tips on how a business, nonprofit or special event coordinator can take advantage of having consistently valuable content through a variety of channels.

"Most Americans are in a good mood going into 2015. Now is the time to position your business, nonprofit or special event to take advantage of this key consumer development," Mike says.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Itunes_ss2
